As a country music fan, am delighted to be introduced to Radney Foster and I've had fun looking him up on YouTube and realizing what an amazing talent he is — and his style is classic country. I also loved knowing he is a Texan. Our son went to undergrad at Rice in Houston and got his PhD from U.T. Austin, so my husband and I have spent many happy times in Texas, even though we live in Virginia. Great interview!

Hi Judy. I just listened to your interview with Radney Foster and enjoyed hearing the history of his career. Not having been a country and western vocal fan, I must admit ignorance of even the legends of this music. So I decided to Google some of his songs on you tube, i.e Just Call Me Lonesome and Nobody Wins. You can tell him an opera nerd likes his voice from 30+ years ago! Its clear as a bell and a voice you would not get tired of listening to, unlike some pop stars I’ve heard. Nobody Wins would have been a favorite of mine if I hadn’t been listening to and singing Verdi!
