About:

Judy Rodman is an award-winning vocal coach, recording artist, live performer, songwriter, public speaker, author and studio producer with decades of experience and major market success.

Her students and recording clients include major and indie recording artists, artist development companies, touring and studio session singers, public speakers, teachers and voiceover talent. They have appeared on The Today Show, Letterman, Ellen Degeneres, The Voice, American Idol, America’s Got Talent, Grammys, CMA, ACM, MTV and Emmy Awards Shows, New York Times Best Seller list.

She is a member of SAG-AFTRA, AFM, BMI and NATS.

Career Milestones:

• Judy started out as staff jingle singer in Memphis, Tennessee. She went on to sing session vocals on decades of #1 legendary hits.
• She signed as artist with MTM Records and had several top-10 Billboard hits, including her #! “Until I Met You”.
• She won “New Female Vocalist of the Year” by the Academy of Country Music and Billboard Magazine in 1985
• In 1990, She received a BMI ‘Million-Air certificate as songwriter for ‘One Way Ticket, Because I Can’ cut by LeAnn Rimes,
• Her 2022 studio production on an album for Tiffany Haseker resulted in a #1 single and Josie and New Music awards.
• She’s been named “Best Vocal Coach” by the Nashville Music Pros Organization, Expertise.com and in 2023 by DistinguishedTeaching.com.
• Her songs have sync placements in TV and movies including “The Expanse” series and the movie “Wild Horses”, starring Robert Duvall.
• Judy is a published author with several vocal training courses. She has contributed content to myriads of books, magazines and websites that serve the music industry and voice matters including TC Helicon’s “Ultimate Guide To Singing”, Eric Normand’s “Nashville Musicians Survival Guide”, and Peter George’s book “The Captivating Public Speaker”.

The Latest:

• Among her current students, Judy is the vocal coach for the cast of a new animated series on Disney, slated to air 2024.
• She is collaborating with Darren J. Butler on new musicals including Runaway Home, which got standing ovations at star-studded industry readings in NYC. They are now seeking funding for full production.
• She gives presentations both in person and online on the voice and studio vocal production. She also guests on podcasts, and hosts her own.
